Psychology can be used to understand and treat mental health issues and improve education, employment, and relationships.
Psychology also allows understanding of how the mind and body function instead of each other. This could help with decision-making, and avoiding stressful situations. Psychological studies help to diagnose many diseases and have helped in the development of human beings.

- Family psychology focuses on interpersonal systems found within the family. Nowadays society accepts and condones the many types of forms of family. The single-parent household was frowned upon by society, which was seen as sad and lonely, whereas the kids were creative and resilient and were doing great just like others.
