The Idea

you have been to a paint night. this is not that.

A paint-and-wine night gives you a glass and a canvas to copy. We give you a warm cup, a blank page, and a real art therapist who builds the whole evening around one feeling. You are not here to reproduce a sunset. You are here to make something honest about where you are, gently, in good company.

It is the lowest, kindest door into art therapy. No skill needed, no pressure to share, nothing to get right. Most people arrive a little wound up and leave a little lighter. Some of them, later, want the whole thing. That door is open too.

come as you are. leave a little lighter.
how an evening goes

five steps, two unhurried hours.

i

sip

arrive, take a warm cup, find your seat. no rush, no small talk you don't want.

ii

ground

your art therapist opens the theme, lightly. a few minutes to settle into the feeling.

iii

make

a guided prompt, about seventy minutes. they move the room while you work.

iv

share

an optional circle. say as much or as little as you like. silence is welcome.

v

keep

take your piece home. it is yours, and it will mean more than you expect.

your seat covers

everything but the feeling.

  • a warm drink to begin, from the bar
  • all your materials, paper, paint, brushes, the lot
  • an art therapist guiding the whole evening
  • the finished piece, yours to take home
  • a credit toward the Art Therapy Course, if you want to go further
  • the Souled room, a small, kind group for the night

the small print, in plain words.

do i need to be good at art?

not even a little. if you can hold a brush, you can do every part of the evening. this is about expression, not skill, and no one is judging the result.

is there alcohol?

no. the "sip" is coffee, chai, or something warm and soft. emotional, honest work and a clear head go better together.

can i come alone?

yes, and most people do. it is a small, friendly room, and the structure means you never have to make awkward conversation to belong.

is this therapy?

no. it is a supportive, creative evening led by an art therapist, not a clinical therapy session. it can feel therapeutic, but it is not treatment, and we will always be clear about that.

what do i need to bring?

for in-person editions, just yourself. everything is provided. for the online edition, we send a short materials list ahead of time so you can gather a few basics.

can i book a private evening?

yes. we run private editions for teams, celebrations, and groups. enquire and we will plan one around your people.

there's a seat with your name on it

pull up a chair.

no skill, no pressure, no wrong way to do it. just an evening, a warm cup, and whatever you bring with you.
