Specialisation ยท Certificate Course

A child's behaviour is a language. Learn to read it.

Children and teenagers aren't small adults. They are developing, and the same behaviour means different things at different ages. This course teaches you to read it and respond.

Spot the style

So much of child work is reading the parenting around the child. Here's a parent. Name the style.

"I'm warm and affectionate with my kid, but I also hold firm, consistent limits and explain why."
Which parenting style is this?

Authoritative. Warmth plus structure, the style most strongly linked to healthy social and emotional development. Authoritarian has the limits without the warmth, permissive the warmth without the limits.

why it matters

Read the style and you understand the child in front of you, and you know exactly where to coach the parent.

in the Practice Room you coach a real-feeling parent toward this, without lecturing them.

why this is its own skill
The same behaviour is a stage at six and a red flag at sixteen.

Working with young people means holding development, the family, the school and the child all at once, and often working through the parent as much as the child.

You learn to tell a normal phase from something that needs intervention, and to do it in the room with a wriggling, guarded or shut-down kid in front of you.

the part that closes the gap

Practise on a child before a child

Inside this course you get a simulator of children, teens and parents, AI cases that test, deflect and stay quiet the way real young clients do. You read the stage, choose the intervention, and coach the parent.

It scores your micro-skills, ranks you up, and lets you get it wrong safely. By your first real family, you've already practised the hard cases.

Fair questions

Is self-paced just recorded videos?

No. Recorded modules plus the child and parent Practice Room, a workbook with developmental maps and tools, and a graded assessment for the certificate. You learn it and you practise it. There's just no live class in this tier, and we say so.

When does the live cohort run?

Quarterly, in small curated batches with limited seats. If a batch doesn't suit you, start self-paced now and upgrade into the next one.

Do I need prior experience?

No. It builds from development up, whether you are new or already practising.

Does this let me practise as a therapist?

It builds the skill, not the licence. A Master's is still required to practise professionally in India. This counts toward listing once you qualify.

ready when you are
